A motorist drove hard against a tree this morning on Ermerstraat near Holsloot. In addition, the driver was trapped in his delivery van.
Around 11 am the driver lost control of his vehicle and bumped into the tree. Among other things, a trauma helicopter was urgently called to come to the scene of the accident. Firefighters had to free the victim from the car. The Ermerstraat was completely closed to traffic.
