Funny scene: Formula 1 star rejects marriage proposal

At the start of the race weekend in Canada, Lando Norris is currently waiting for his next assignment on the track. Then there is a curious moment.
Actually, the drivers in Formula 1 should concentrate fully to prepare for the upcoming race during a training session. But McLaren-Pilot Lando Norris was a little distracted during the 1st free training session at the Grand Prix of Canada on Friday.
The 25-year-old stood in the garage with his racing car, persecuted on screens that are placed on the car in the garage, the events on the track. There was a curious moment for Norris.
The cameras showed some spectators in the stands. A couple that was in the audience held together a large poster towards the camera. It said: “Lando, do you want to marry me? My friend doesn’t want to.”
Norris himself had obviously followed the scene, because shortly afterwards he was shown in his car. The Brit looked towards the camera and started shaking his head clearly. Marriage proposal rejected.
Apart from the fact that the application was probably not really serious, the British reaction is no wonder: Norris himself seems to be in firm hands. At the Monaco race at the end of May, the Portuguese model Magui Corceiro cheered him together with his parents. The two were already a couple for a few months in 2024, but separated in August. Now they seem to have found each other again.
By the way, Norris has the chance to win his first World Cup title this year. He struggles primarily with his McLaren teammate Oscar Piatri, who currently leads the driver’s ranking with a ten-point lead on Norris.
