Milan Football Week with Cafu, Zenga, Grosso and Stroppa

Another weekend of stories and fun in the name of the ball. The third edition of the Milan Football Week enters the final two days, CityLife is preparing to welcome champions, personalities of football and many fans. Like last Saturday and Sunday, as in the days of this week who saw the fan zone animated with the many initiatives related to the event, even tomorrow and Sunday a full, of people, enthusiasm and activities are announced. The names are enough: Cafu, Walter Zenga, Fabio Grosso and Giovanni Stroppa will be the guests on Saturday, ready to tell their experiences of champions and to think about the football of the future. Tomorrow, however, it will close with the games and animation in the large hospitality area. But the Milan Football Week also has a social implication: tomorrow at 10 the demonstration of Paralympic football football will be held, which will see the team of the “unsurpassed” team together with the representative Juventus One, Milan for Special and Turin for Disabled, the latter back from its fifth national title, that of “Level 3”.

The first event of the day, at 12.30, brings together two technicians who have just conquered the promotion in A. “We arrive” is the title of the meeting, which will feature Fabio Grosso, a technician of Sassuolo, and Giovanni Stroppa, who helped to bring the Cremonese to the top flight. The 2006 German hero signed a record season with the Emilians dominating the tournament: promotion obtained well in advance, to the sound of goals (78), for a coach capable of repeating the one obtained two years ago with Frosinone. The legendary right -back of Brazil was twice world champion: in 1994, when he entered the bench at 21 ‘in the final against Italy in Pasadena, and in 2002, when he played all 90’ of the challenge for the title, against Germany. Cafu, however, also lived an extraordinary part of his career in Italy, to Rome between 1997 and 2003 – with the victory of the 2001 Scudetto (plus an Italian Super Cup) with Fabio Capello on the bench – and the last five seasons at Milan, winning another Scudetto and the Champions League of 2007, as well as another Italian Super Cup, two UEFA Super Cups and a Club World Cup. A legendary ride, with many anecdotes that will be happy to tell.

At 18.30 then the grand finale with one of the most loved goalkeepers, in Milan and throughout Italy. Walter Zenga, the spider man, protagonist of the Scudetto in Inter of records -will arrive -but in the Nerazzurri he lived 12 seasons, becoming the symbol of an era -, winner of two UEFA cups with the Nerazzurri and with 58 appearances with the blue shirt, one of the protagonists of Italy 90 and the best numbers 1 in the history of football.
