This Friday will be the first tropical day of this year. A temperature of 30.1 degrees was already measured in Eindhoven around noon. The rest of the province follows in the course of the afternoon.
The temperature eventually ends up at about 33 degrees on Friday afternoon, Johnny Willemsen van Weerplaza said on Friday morning in the radio program Keeigoeiemorgen on Omroep Brabant.
“It’s hot on Saturday.”
This nice weather will be punished with thunderstorms, but according to Willemsen our province hardly has to deal with that. Zeeland and South Holland in particular are expected to suffer from it. “Maybe a thunderstorm is the west of our province. This will be around midnight or the first few hours of the night to Saturday.”
The chance of thunderstorms increases again on Saturday afternoon and evening. “But for those showers it will be around 27 degrees in the west of the province and 30 degrees in the east. It is hot on Saturday.”
“We will also have very nice weather next week.”
Then the temperature drops to normal values. “On Sunday it will be about 23 degrees, with a lot of sun, and next week we will have very nice weather. About 25 degrees every day. Many people find that more pleasant than the 33 degrees it will be this Friday afternoon.”
