Stubb glows Jukola’s message “in an integral part of the Finnish Sports Summer”.

The President of the Republic Alexander Stubb has released his greetings to the world’s largest message orienteering event for Jukola’s message, which he will be a patron of this year. The traditional message race will be held in Mikkeli this weekend.

According to Stubb, orienteering is more than just a sport.

The Jukola message has seven sections and the message runs throughout the night. The first part of the competition will run into the woods at 11 pm on Saturday evening.

According to the President, the message is an integral part of the Finnish sports summer, offering both fitness, community and a deep relationship with nature.

– Each competition is its own story that survives memories.
