Two suspects were arrested on Thursday in the investigation into Tijn (13) missing since mid-January: a 50-year-old man and a 40-year-old woman from Valkenswaard. According to the police, they belong to ‘the direct circle’ of the missing boy. The boy is still not found.
The police state that there is currently no reason to fear for the boy’s life. “But we are worried about his well -being after months in mystery. He probably won’t go to school, so there are also great worries about his (social) development and mental health.”

The teenager left January 14 with an unknown destination from his residence address. Soon there was a suspicion that he had been withdrawn from the authority of law on him. In the search for the boy, the police have spread a photo of the child, among other things.
The two arrested on Thursday is stuck. Their houses have been searched. The police also investigated in other places. In addition, data carriers were seized. The police do not exclude more arrests.
