BTSV talent receives a professional contract-and is awarded

Meilenstein for Jona Borsum: Eintracht Braunschweig equips the 20-year-old with his first professional contract. For the time being, however, he continues in the regional league.
The next step follows for the 20 -year -old Jona Borsum: He receives the first professional contract of his young career at Eintracht Braunschweig. This was announced by BTSV on Thursday. His new contract is valid until June 30, 2027.
According to sports manager Benjamin Kessel, this is the reward for the achievements of the midfielder in the recent past. “Jona has developed well in recent years and has also left a very decent impression on the professionals,” said the BTSV boss. “He already has a strong physique and a positive attitude for his age.”
Eintracht will not benefit from this for the time being. Because: The BTSV gives Borsum to Kickers Offenbach from the regional league until the end of the 2025/26 season. The 20-year game practice should collect there. “For Jona, the change is the right step to promote its development at a good level and in the men’s area. We will pursue his loan very carefully,” said Kessel.
Borsum switched to the Eintracht youth center in the summer of 2022. With the A-Juniors, he made the promotion to the Bundesliga at the time. A year later he rose to the top division with the newly founded U23. In the past season he held the class with the team, but at least sniffed the professionals regularly during training.
The fact that he now signed his first professional contract makes him proud. “I am very happy about my first professional contract and the trust that the harmony gives me,” he says. “This is an important step in my development, which I would like to confirm with hard work.” This should succeed in Offenbach for now.
