“Theft remains theft”: Disney sues AI company for counterfeit of figures from Star Wars and Cars

Disney has filed a lawsuit against the popular AI platform Midjourney, which, according to the company, generates images of their well-known characters without permission. Among the examples: figures from ‘Star Wars’ and ‘Cars’, but also countless other iconic creations that, according to Disney, fall under their copyright.
