Who meets Germany?

Germany has been spared a so -called “death group” with absolute top opponents in the draw, but the progress is still very demanding. Poland is a clear outsider, but with Denmark and Sweden there are two very strong Scandinavian opponents who showed their class at the 2023 World Cup – unlike the DFB team extinguished in the group phase. In the quarterfinal, a real chunk from Group D with England, France and the Netherlands would wait in the quarterfinals.

When and where will the Germans find games National team instead of?

The team of national coach Christian Wück starts on July 4th at 9 p.m. in St. Gallen against Poland, continues four days later against Denmark (6 p.m. in Basel). In Zurich, the game against Sweden will take place on July 12th (9pm), where Germany would also contest the quarter -finals on July 17th (9pm). In the case of the group victory, it would continue on July 19 at 9 p.m. in Basel.

What opportunities does Germany have at the European Championship?

“It still makes little sense to think about a goal at the European Championship”said Wück in the Sportschau interview after the group draw, but he also emphasized: “We want to be very convinced that we can do it. That we will make it.” The national coach was quite optimistic that his team can intervene in the fight for the title, but the German team was very changeable recently and still has to grow together in the preparation.

What about tickets?

A total of 700,000 tickets were available at the start of the pre -sale in December 2024 and a very large part of them are already out of print. On the official ticket portal, only tickets for five games were available at the beginning of January, including no game with German participation, but at least a quarter and a semi-finals on July 22nd. This could contest the DFB team if it gets second in the group.

These are e-tickets that can be called up via an app, there are no printed tickets. The tickets are provided shortly before the tournament starts. In spring it should still be one Resale-PLATTH platform where there will be returns to individual tickets.

Who are the favorites on the European Championship title?

The performance density in the tournament is very tight, so there are many teams to whom it is trusted to have something to celebrate on July 27th in Basel. World champion and National League-Trichen Spain is still a top favorite, behind it the English are probably the biggest title candidate.
