Several local residents had a leaking car tire on Monday morning through crow’s feet in the Deken van Dijkstraat in Schijndel. Two weeks ago it was also hit in exactly the same place. A bad boy’s area or a deliberate action? Resident Maikel van Gestel has no idea, but he did report to the police. “It makes no sense. You don’t really drive your street with confidence.”

The day before Ascension, Maikel came home from his work when he saw two crow’s feet sitting in his car tire. “At that time I didn’t know where I had sustained that, but such things should not be on the road.” Maikel had his band repaired and didn’t think about it.

Until he was busy in the front garden on Monday morning and a passer -by pointed him to sharp objects on the street. There were about fifteen and a few meters away there were more. Maikel has picked them up so that not more people are the victims of it. “Then I knew right away that I drove my band here last time.”

“Nobody in the neighborhood has a video doorbell with a view of the street.”

Maikel has reported to the police because it not only causes leaky tires, but it is also dangerous for cyclists, people who cross and playing children. “The police have said that they are going to pay extra attention to it. They can do little now, because there are no camera images. Nobody in the neighborhood has a video doorbell with a view of the street.”

Maikel also shared a photo with a warning on Facebook. Soon several people from the neighborhood indicated that they also had crow’s feet in their car tires. “Having a new band put it on it quickly costs eighty to a hundred euros. And it makes you restless. You check the street before you drive. Hopefully the message will be the one.”

The police were not available for comment on Tuesday evening.
