Around 2 hours Saturday night the emergency services arrived in the Rollegemstraat in Ledegem. A small white van ran into an electricity pole. The pole fell over and a little later the van came to a halt.
The driver turned out to be under heavy influence of alcohol and may have fallen asleep behind the wheel, he also had to be guided to the ambulance. The man has to hand over his driver’s license for fifteen days.
