Clubs are faced with agreement

The transfer poker between Bayer Leverkusen and FC Liverpool went into the next round on Friday – and you are about to get there. The package for the 22 -year -old Florian Wirtz, according to “Sky Sports”, amounts to the equivalent of EUR 134.1 million: 118.7 million replacement plus 15.4 million euros in bonuses. The Bayer demand is thus approaching 150 million euros.
While the player side and the English master have reached unity, the clubs are on the last few meters. What is already certain: Wirtz cracks with the change of transfer records. Ex-Leverkusener Kai Havertz will replace the former Cologne-owned home as the most expensive German in football history and Enzo Fernández as the most expensive purchase of the Premier League history-both switched to Chelsea.
Whether Wirtz will also become the most expensive Bundesliga and Premier League transfer at all depends on whether the overall package of transfer and bonuses cracks the 135 million mark. FC Barcelona 2017 paid so much for Ousmane Dembélé to BVB and 2018 for Philippe Coutinho to FC Liverpool. Either way, it will be a transfer of superlatives, because only for Kylian Mbappé, who switched to PSG for 180 million in 2018, after the Paris 2017 already won Neymar for 222 million euros, more money flowed.
As soon as Wirtz signs, after Ibrahima Konaté (formerly RB Leipzig), Ryan Gravenberch (Bavaria), Wataru Endo (VfB), Dominik Szoboszlai (RB) and Jeremie Frimpong (Bayer) are the sixth ex-Bundliga professional in the squad of coach Arne slot. For this sextet flowed and flow around 350 million euros to the Bundesliga.
