Bruggts also wins cup with FC Barcelona after title

9.29 pm: Esmee Brugts has won the Spanish cup with FC Barcelona for the second year in a row. The Oranje-International was the entire final against Atlético Madrid (2-0) within the lines. Clàudia Pina scored both goals.

Hockey players continue Pro League with ample victory over Australia

15.13 hours: Both teams will meet again on Sunday. This is followed by duels with Spain and China. The Dutch hockey players have won their first of six games in the Wagener stadium for the Pro League. The team of national coach Raoul Ehren was 8-1 much too strong for Australia in Amstelveen. Top scorer was Yibbi Jansen with three hits.

12.50 pm: Wheelchair tennis star Aniek van Koot did not succeed in completing her ‘Career Grand Slam’ with the title on Roland Garros. The 35-year-old Van Koot lost the final in Paris to the Japanese Yui Kamiji: 6-2 6-2.

Last summer, Kamiji also won paralympic gold on the jobs of Roland Garros by beating Diede de Groot in the final. De Groot, the title defender on Roland Garros, made her return to this grand slam tournament after a hip surgery, but was eliminated in her first game.

Van Koot previously reached the final in Paris in 2012, 2014 and 2015, but was unable to win. She did win the Australian Open (2013), Wimbledon (2019) and the US Open (2013).

Marc Márquez fastest in qualifying GP from Aragón

Collin Veijer is missing in the qualification of the Moto2 later on Saturday. The 20-year-old Staphorster has not yet recovered from the wrist injury he sustained last month, so he already missed the Grand Prix of Great Britain.

Volleyball players lose from Dominican Republic after five -setter
