Rock am Ring 2025: LED tower and stage upgrade
The new, massive LED towers in front of the Utopia Stage, which should enable an even more intensive concert experience. Also in front of the Mandora Stage are identical towers – because the second largest stage from Rock am Ring was technically drawn with the main stage in 2025 and even the same size. So the fans can look forward to top sound and fat visuals on two large stages.
Fourth stage, new off-road layout
A real novelty: in 2025 there is a fourth stage for the first time – the Atmos Stage. It not only brings additional live moments to the night, but also ensures an extended festival site. The main entrance was laid for this. This now offers a direct view of the new stage and the Ferris wheel when entering. The change is part of what festival director Jana Post describes on the tour as a new “look and feel”.
Four decades, 100 bands – and another strictly kept secret
With 100 bands, four stages and concerts until three at night, Rock am Ring 2025 wants to celebrate his 40th birthday. The tent places have been open since Wednesday, tens of thousands of fans are already on site. The Nürburgring turns again to a pilgrimage for music fans from all over the world.
