That is why the province now replaces the signs with official warning signs. They stay hanging until mid -October. A spokesperson explains why the signs are removed afterwards:
“Moped cars are forbidden on all cycle paths. If you start hanging a sign for every traffic rule, it will be a ratjetoe of signs. Traffic signs are there to give exceptions.” The province lets the fixed signs followed along the cycle path and, if necessary, replaced.
