Jasper van D. (27) from Tilburg has to go to jail for three years for the abuse of two children and an enormous amount of children’s and animal porn from ‘the worst kind’ he owned. The court in Breda van D. also imposed TBS on Tuesday with compulsory treatment.
The court finds that in 2021 Van D. raped a girl of 13 in a park in Alphen aan de Rijn. According to the court there was a coercion, even though the girl initially gave permission for sex. The then 23-year-old Van D. was ten years older and had a physical and psychological predominance on her, so that she could not escape him, the court judges.
The court also considers the fornication with a 7 girl of 7 in 2023 during a scouting camp. Extra bad in that case is that the girl was entrusted to the care of Van D. during that camp and that he took a horrible abuse of it.
Van D. receives the compulsory treatment because the court, like the judiciary, sees that Van D. will not stop his tendency to abuse children. The Tilburger was already arrested four times and it turned out that he had been to children again or downloaded child pornography again.
Again and again in the mistake
“I think Jasper van D. wants to change, but that just can’t,” concluded the public prosecutor during the hearing. Between 2021 and 2024 he was arrested four times and always went wrong again. He thereby violated all the conditions and then it is ready, the officer thought. And so the court agrees, it turned out Tuesday.
In addition to the sex offenses with two minor girls, Jasper van D. collected a huge amount of children’s and animal porn, in total nearly 100,000 photos and around 11,000 videos of the worst kind.
Van D. confessed all the facts, but does not see himself as very dangerous, he said during the session. He is now being treated in the Penitentiary Psychiatric Center (PPC) in the prison in Vught and that is going well, he thinks. He did not like a forced TBS treatment without a fixed end. But the court took the advice of an expert that of D. because of his autism and his pedophile disorder should be treated.
Declaration by mother
The case came rolling when the 7-year-old girl said in August 2022 that a man from the leadership of a scouting camp in Moergestel had touched her. Immediately her mother reported and Jasper van D. was heard. He denied and was sent back home.
In February 2023 he was arrested again and the police made a big blow during two visits: there were no fewer than 72,000 children’s porno albums on a hard disk. The police also found hundreds of homemade images of a 13 -year -old girl from Alphen aan de Rijn among all those images. With her, Van D. appeared to have had a kind of relationship in 2021. For example, a lot of messages and photos were exchanged.
But Van D. also went once to Alphen aan de Rijn where he raped the girl on a blanket in a park. Van D. was in love, but he was 23 and the girl 13. The girl, who also suffers from a form of autism, was very shocked by sex with Jasper.
Released
Even after these discoveries, Van D. was released again, but on the condition that he would participate in his treatment. Until the police again came to Van D. in January 2024 after a report that he was active again. And this fourth time the police found child pornography again at Van D. now almost 3000 pictures.
In the meantime, the police also discovered that Van D. has actually been working on child pornography since 2010. Not only with collecting, but he also made photos and videos of children himself, such as in Moergestel and Alphen aan de Rijn. And now it really has to come to an end, the court judges and that is why Van D. must be treated.
