Football fans in Germany continue to concern one question: Where will Thomas Müller play in the coming season? After the upcoming club World Cup tournament in the USA, the attacker at Bayern Munich ends after 25 years. And it is still unclear which jersey the 35-year-old will wear in 2025/26.
Initially, the offensive player at the FIFA tournament in the USA wants to fight for the title again with FC Bayern. The club World Cup is also its last trip with the Munich.
But now Müller has lifted attention with meaningful sentences. Shortly before his possibly last appearance in the Bayern jersey, the 2014 world champion spoke up again with his newsletter. This was mainly about the tournament in the USA – including more meaningful statements: “I find the venue for America exciting,” wrote Müller. “Maybe we can start a small football hype train. Also with regard to the 2026 World Cup. I see a lot of potential for football in the USA. Let’s see how it feels.”
Does this also indicate that a switch to the MLS is conceivable? Bayern’s partner club Los Angeles FC in particular should be interested in the agreed media reports. Müller is said to have already rejected an offer from Cincinnati, and San Diego and Dallas were also mentioned as possible goals.
