An apartment building has been built in Zeelaan in De Panne for three years, but these structures are on a lot of damage and noise pollution at the neighbors and they have had enough of all the damage to their homes and the costs associated with it.
“Damage has actually been caused for tens of thousands of euros, much more. And there is still damage. There are still a number of things that we don’t even dare to talk about anymore. The list has actually become too long.” Says Yves Taecke, a local resident. In addition, he also says that only a small part is being repaid by the insurance for the necessary repairs.
