The Cremonese is the twentieth team that will take part in the next Serie A championship: the Lombard team follows Sassuolo and Pisa who had obtained direct promotion ending the first two places in the Serie B ranking after 38 days. The new Serie A will be so composed (we list the teams in the order of the final position of the 2024-25 season): Naples (Italian champion), Inter, Atalanta, Juventus, Rome, Fiorentina, Lazio, Milan, Bologna, Como, Turin, Udinese, Genoa, Verona, Cagliari, Parma and Lecce, which are joined precisely Sassuolo, Pisa and Cremonese.

The next series A will begin with the advances of the first day on Saturday 23 August 2025 and will end on Sunday 24 May 2026. The transfer market will still be open during the first two days: the negotiations of the summer session will in fact end on Monday 1 September. The new calendar will be presented next Friday, June 6, starting at 18.30, at the Teatro Regio in Parma, as part of the second edition of the Serie A Festival A.
