With applause, emotion and a hint of nostalgia, he was paid to a woman and a place that left a stamp on Jabbeke last night. Marie-Jeanne Depré, the former manager of the iconic Café De Tijger, was central during the premiere of a short film about her life behind the bar. The documentary is the work of filmmaker Stijn Vandamme, who worked on the project for three years.
