Thanks to a catch-up in Formula 3, the German motorsport talent Tim Tramnitz has won a few points, but continued to fall back in the title fight. At the main race in Spain, the 20-year-old was seventh by Team MP Motorsport on Sunday, he started from 13th place. Overall rider Rafael Camara (Trident) from Brazil won the race.

Red Bull-Junior Tramnitz is now 35 points behind Camara, which belongs to the Ferrari Academy. Bulgarian Nikola Zolow (Campos Racing) is also just ahead of Tramnitz in the classification, and it became fifth on Sunday.

The sprint on Saturday had already shown a serious setback for Tramnitz. After a collision, the Hamburger already left in the second curve, later the race management also identified him as the cause of the accident. Tramnitz received a three-place penalty, so the main race only started from position 13.

In the first corners, he made four positions well and was initially ninth. In the narrow midfield, however, another catch -up was difficult. Formula 3 continues on the last weekend in Juni in the Austrian Spielberg.
