The most important football game of the season is increasing in Munich. What can be expected from the Champions League final? Where can you see it? And who is in focus? Worth knowing about the showdown.
13 years after the “Finale Dahoam” so dramatic for FC Bayern, a final of the Champions League is again increasing in the Allianz Arena. On Saturday (9:00 p.m./ZDF and DAZN as well as in the live ticker at T-Online) Paris Saint-Germain and Inter Milan play the most important title in club football. It is also a duel of opposites, for some it is also a return to their old stadium. What you should know about the 2025 Champions League final in Munich:
The ZDF broadcasts the final live on free TV. The finale also shows the paid streaming service DAZN. There will be 64,500 people in the stadium. Anyone who has not received a ticket for the royal class showdown will remain in Munich, among other things, public viewing events in the Olympic Park or at the Königsplatz. The UEFA warns fans of buying tickets on non -authorized platforms, agencies or on the black market.
The bookmakers see Paris in front. The French had started a mewed start to this Champions League season and only solved their ticket for the knockout phase on the last match day of the main round against Stuttgart. There, the team of coach Luis Enrique later switched three English teams out (title favorite Liverpool, Aston Villa, Arsenal), while Inter prevailed against Feyenoord, FC Bayern and the semi -finals.
For years, Paris put on superstars as success factors – in vain. In the summer of 2024, Kylian Mbappé left the club, since then the French have not had an outstanding player. Now PSG is hoping for the collective with hungry and talented youngsters such as Barcola, Doué, Neves or the Kwarazchelia hired in winter. Goalkeeper Donnarumma towered over in the semi -finals against Arsenal. Inter, however, consumes the experience of people such as Calhanoglu, Mkhitaryan, Acerbi or ex-Bayern goalkeeper Sommer. World champion Martinez and the ex-Gladbacher Thuram should be offensive. Inters national player Bisseck is the only German in the Munich final.

Paris made it into the final in its history: In the first Corona year 2020, the French lost 0-1 to FC Bayern in front of empty ranks in Lisbon. Inter already has significantly more experiences with games about the European football crown: in 2010 the Champions League triumph (against Bavaria), in 2023 it was defeated by a final defeat against Manchester City. The Milanese in 1964 and 1965 won the European Cup of the national champions as a predecessor competition, and in 1967 and 1972 it went to the final.
As in 2012, the city of Munich organizes the largest event in European club football – 13 years ago, the climax ended as a “drama Dahoam” and the final defeat of FC Bayern in penalty shooting against Chelsea. The final for Europe’s football crown takes place in Bavaria’s state capital for the fifth time: the final was still held in the Olympic Stadium in 1979, 1993 and 1997.
