The two men who became involved on Saturday in a traffic fight in Berkel-Enschot were both under the influence. The police report this. It is a 21-year-old man from Spain and a 35-year-old man from Den Bosch. The pair got into a fight with each other on the N65 just before ten in the morning, after which they chased each other. At the intersection of the Oikenboschweg and the Beukendreef, the cars popped together and ended up in a backyard.
The Spaniard left and was caught and handed over to the police by local residents. The other driver was checked on the spot by ambulance personnel. He too was finally taken to the police station.
A first test showed that they probably drove under the influence of drugs. The police are investigating what happened and are trying to map out exactly between the two.
