Bavaria improves Sané offer again after all

The poker around Leroy Sané continues – and apparently FC Bayern has revised its offer again. But the Premier League should also remain an option.
The clock ticks for FC Bayern Munich. It is still unclear whether Leroy Sané remains in the Bavarian capital beyond the summer. The national player’s contract expires in a few weeks – an agreement is still pending.
Sports board member Max Eberl and Bavaria Honorary President Uli Hoeneß should be committed to keeping the offensive player. She reports Sky Sport. According to information from the broadcaster, the 29-year-old is now available for a revised contract offer. The last model provided for around ten million euros in basic salary plus bonuses of five and a half million euros. In the meantime, the conditions have been filed – with a slightly increased fixed content.
It is still possible to remain, but the Premier League remains an issue. According to Sky, FC Arsenal continues to show interest, Sané is on the list among the Londoners. Tottenham Hotspur was also called by different media, but according to Sky, it should not be a specific option – also because of the player’s high content. The Europa League winner should hardly be able to manage the financial framework.
After a meeting between Sané’s consultant Pini Zahavi and the Bayern managers, a decision is obviously imminent. Sky reporter Florian Plettenberg said “Transfer Update-The Show” on Friday evening: “It doesn’t take two months. We are talking from seven to ten days-maybe faster.”
Sané has been playing for Bavaria for five years now. In June 2020 he came to Munich for almost 50 million euros from Manchester City. Since then he has won four German championship titles and the club World Cup in 2021.
