That after more than ten years? Marc-André Ter Stegen should no longer have a future at FC Barcelona and could leave the club in summer.

National goalkeeper Marc-André Ter Stegen is apparently faced with FC Barcelona. According to matching Spanish media reports, the club plans to separate from its long -standing goalkeeper.

Accordingly, Barça President Joan Laporta Ter Stegen has declared a candidate for sales. At the same time, there has been speculation for a commitment from Joan García, the 24-year-old goalkeeper of city rival Espanyol. According to the RAC-1 radio station, Laporta is confident that García can be brought to Barcelona. If the change comes about, the Stegen should go.

The Spanish newspaper “As” speaks of a “bang”. The 34-year-old has been playing at Barça since 2014 and actually still has a contract until 2028.

Ter Stegen had only celebrated his comeback at the beginning of May after a seven -month break due to a knee injury. In the decisive games at the end of the season, however, coach Hansi Flick continued to rely on Wojciech Szczęsny.

Despite the developments at Barça, national coach Julian Nagelsmann records ter Stegen. Nagelsmann emphasized last week for the Nations League final tournament of the Nations League.
