Werder Bremen has found his new trainer, but not yet in the Lawn Ball Ball. When searching, the club will also look around nationally.

Who will be the new head coach of Lawn Ball Sport Leipzig? This question is still open. The Bundesliga seventh has been looking for a successor to Marco Rose for weeks. Interim solution Zsolt Löw has returned to his old position as “Head of Soccer Development” after the season.

In the search, St. Paulis Alexander Blessin was one of the candidates for the vacant position. As the transfer journalist Sacha Tavolieri reports, there is a great interest in the 52-year-old. Jürgen Klopp in particular should speak internally for Blessin.

It would not be Blessin’s first activity in Leipzig. From 2012 to 2020 he worked in various positions in the youth area, was temporarily assistant coach under Achim Beierlorzer (now manager Jahn Regensburg) and Robert Klauß (most recently Rapid Vienna), but also led individual youth teams. Afterwards he went over Belgium and Italy to FC St. Pauli, which he held after the promotion in the Bundesliga.

In addition to Blessin, CESC Fàbregas (Como 1907) and Oliver Glasner (Crystal Palace) are also considered candidates. But with both of them it was very long for whereabouts. Glasner said Sky Sports: “In football you never know 100 percent, but I say that 99 percent I am a Crystal Palace coach next season.”

And Fàbregas, who had already reported to Leverkusen, should be faced with a contract extension in Como, according to the Italian medium “Tuttomercatoweb”.
