Schalke 04 has found a new trainer according to the agreed media reports: The Austrian Miron Muslic comes from the English second division relegated Plymouth Argyle.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano as well as the “WAZ” and the TV broadcaster “Sky” report on an agreement with the previous coach of the English second division relegation. According to the reports, the second division team draws an exit clause in the Austrian contract.
Plymouth only confirms the departure
The English club confirmed the conversations and the departure of the coach on his website: “We are disappointed with it and reluctantly allowed him to have talks with a German second division at his request. He will leave Argyle just four months after his obligation. We wish him all the best for his future career.” There was no confirmation from FC Schalke yet.
With Plymouth Argyle in the past season, Muslic only took the penultimate place after taking over the post in January. Previously, other names were traded in public at the Schalke search for coach. Christian Titz and Lukas Kwasniok in particular were considered favorites.
