Group B baked the two finalists. Liverani’s team beats the red and white, that of Baldini manages the advantage of the first leg. Went on June 2 to Umbria, the return on 7
Ternana and Pescara will be, both from group B – respectively second and fourth – to play the last promotion. The first leg of the playoffs is scheduled in Umbria on June 2, returning to the 7th at the Adriatic (both races at 9.15 pm). If the qualification had already been mortgaged in the first 90 ‘by Silvio Baldini’s team (after 4-1 on the Cerignola field), Liverani’s Ternana takes it in front of her audience by passing Vicenza with merit (3-1).
Ternana-Vicenza 3-1
–
The Umbrians enter the field with another step and break the balance after just 12 ‘: Curcio – who had not scored since March, good interpretation from fake nine – begins the action and then goes to conclude it in tow in the area, on the assists of Donati well triggered by Casasola. Vicenza struggles to react in a completed manner, of the death at the interval takes the place of Ronaldo but the trend does not change: the doubling at 57 ‘arrives on another well -built action, unloading shoulders to the door of Ferrante for Aloi who stops the sole and loads a great right -wing right for Confente. On the 2-0, two close-up goals arrive from the corner: Laezza shortens of head (61 ‘), but the illusion of the return to the game lasts a few minutes for the team of old people, still under two goals (3-1) in the 67th minute thanks to the paw of the newly entered Cianci, forgotten on the first pole. And so, one year after the relegation to the playouts against Bari, Ternana can try to recover B. for Vicenza, after the duel for the direct promotion lost with Padua, the playoffs are still bitter (in the past season, the stop in the final with the Carrarese).
Pescara-Cerignola 1-1
–
It is played at a good pace and everything happens in the first half, in a challenge that part conditioned by the result of the first leg. Baldini manages energies and wary, Cerignola hits the crossbar with a pocket in the start, but it is Pescara who unlocks it with Merola served by the left by a large ball of Moruzzi. In response, Cuppone engaged Plizzari and then Salvemini finds the same (his fifteenth goal of the season). In the second half Pescara manages, with the guests who end up in ten for the red headed to Ligi (foul on Valzania) and still close their surprising journey with their heads held high. Baldini arrives to play B, he who has always believed us – even when he seemed unlikely – and now makes a city dream.
