The online sports trader Sportfits was able to grow sharply in the end of February 2024/25.
With a height of 31.1 million euros, sales had exceeded the previous year’s level by 27 percent, the operating company Tourispo GmbH & Co. KG said on Tuesday. In particular, the categories outdoor, winter sports and camping recorded “significant growth rates”.
The e-commerce specialist was also satisfied with the development of results: The operative net marge was again in the high single-digit percentage range and thus confirmed the “sustainable and profitable growth course”. According to its own statements, the company made important progress in the increased use of AI and through a “strategic realignment in the retail media area”.
In the current year, Sportfits is now focusing on further targeted investments in the logistics capacities and the expansion of the range. The offer is to be expanded to include brands such as Dynafit, Garmin, Goldbergh or Thule. In the second half of the year, the retailer also wants to strengthen long-term customer loyalty through a “strategically designed loyalty program”.
