The murder of Jan van Mullekom from Helenaveen has been a mistake. There is an anonymous informer, who has reported to De Telegraaf, of convinced. According to the informer, there was another Jan in hiding in a house nearby that was sought by criminals. That would also explain the striking traces in the house.
The poultry farmer and father of two children was found heavily in his home on July 12, 2022. He turned out to have been tortured for a long time and later died in the hospital.
Everywhere in the house there were blood sweeping, walls were broken open, skirting boards pulled away and gaps were drilled. According to the police, there were several perpetrators who were clearly looking for something in the home. She said earlier that she was taking a mistake of a mistake. That is more common in the criminal circuit, but there were no concrete starting points for that.
“Jan B. invested money from criminals and they demanded money that he no longer had.”
An anonymous informer says to De Telegraaf That one Jan B. was hiding in a house in the immediate vicinity of Van Mullekom’s home at the time. According to the informant, B. had gathered a fortune with the trade in crypto currency such as Bitcoin and ran a company that acts in crypto coins.
“That went well until the races plummeted. Jan also invested money from criminals and they demanded money that he no longer had. They were looking for him, after which he went into hiding,” the informer told the newspaper.
In the house of Jan van Mullekom, the smallest places were searched for, such as in a thick candle and in walls. That may indicate that the perpetrators were looking for a stick with crypto currency and therefore tortured him. De Telegraaf says he has investigated the information from the informant, such as data about the hiding place and it appears to be correct.
According to the newspaper, the relatives are happy with the tip and hope that the intended Jan reports.
