VfB star Stiller fails-Nagelsmann nominates replacement replacement

In the Nations League, Julian Nagelsmann wants to win the first title with the DFB team. But he has to do without Angelo Stiller – and get replacements.
Angelo Stiller will miss the Nations League final tournament. As the DFB announced on Tuesday, the midfielder from VfB Stuttgart will not be able to travel to the national team due to a not completely healed ligament injury. For him, national coach Julian Nagelsmann Jonathan Burkardt from Mainz 05 nominates.
Stiller had contracted a ligament injury to the ankle against FC Augsburg in the penultimate Bundesliga game of VfB Stuttgart and was also questionable for the DFB Cup final against Arminia Bielefeld. Stiller was then used in the 4-2 win of the Stuttgart, but it is not enough for the national team.
Already when his squad, which had taken place before the cup final, Nagelsmann said to the personnel of Stiller that after the cup final, it would be evaluated whether it would be a quiet sense. At that time, however, the national coach presented himself optimistic and said: “I assume that he can come.” This hope has not been fulfilled.
At his club FSV Mainz 05, the fact that Burkardt had initially lacked the national coach of the national coach. “I am amazed, especially after the violation of Tim Kleindienst that the most successful German striker of the Bundesliga season is not nominated. Schade,” said sports director Christian Heidel. Burkardt had scored 18 goals for the Mainz in the past Bundesliga season.
