Coalition between NDP and VHP inevitably seems to be after neck-on-neck race in the provisional result of Suriname: ‘Ready to rule’

There is an earthquake because of the Surinamese political landscape now that the NDP, the party of the late Desi Bouterse, seems to have won the elections. They grow with four seats and, according to a provisional result, with eighteen seats in parliament, a seat more than the VHP, the party of current President Chan Santokhi. They lose three seats. With this result it seems strongly that the two parties have been convicted of a coalition.
