A fan of the MSV Duisburg had to be treated at the cup final in the Ruhrpott – now there are tragic news.
Sad news from Duisburg: A supporter of the MSV died after a medical emergency at the final of the Lower Rhine Cup in the hospital. The incident had occurred against Rot-Weiss Essen as part of the game on Saturday.
The MSV Duisburg was affected. “In the name of the entire Zebra family, we would like to show our condolences and wish the relatives and friends a lot of strength in coping with the tragic loss,” said the future third division.
Rot-Weiss Essen also took part. “The death of this viewer makes us all very sad at Rot-Weiss.
The game had been briefly interrupted during the game (final score 1: 2) in order to enable medical staff to use them in the stands.
