The sad news that Martijn Krabbé (57) has no longer had long to live has taken a bomb this year. He has already been replaced by The Voice of Holland, namely by Edson da Graça, but can he also be replaced when buying without looking? Or should RTL 4 stop this program formula now that the presenter can no longer present it?

“Don’t go on!”

Rob Geus, known for the former SBS 6 hit De Smaakpolitie, believes that RTL 4 should pull the plug. “Martijn is the program. He cannot be replaced. His way of presenting and his voice-over are so special that it will always be less,” he says in the Story.

He continues: “No voice-over can match him. Certain people breathe a program. Robert ten Brink cannot be replaced at All You Need Is Love either.”

“Can go through!”

Henk Krol, who is also in the Story’s prominent panel, believes that RTL 4 can continue with it. “Yes. Every program can do without the presenter with which it started. That says nothing about Martijn, because he is great.”

“But a good program does not depend on a presenter. You will see that at the Sinterklaas journal. Ledereen will miss Dieuwertje Blok, but people will continue to watch.”
