The initial phase of Monaco Grand Prix is overshadowed by an accident. One of the drivers involved reacts upset – and clearly breaks out his frustration.
Curious scenes and plenty of anger potential at the Grand Prix of Monaco: Early in the famous race of Formula 1 Red Bull Pilot Yuki Tsunoda on team radio via his alpine colleague Pierre Gasly. “Is he an idiot? What does he do?” The Japanese scolded. The reason was an accident that potentially both drivers could have cost the race.
Round 10 on the traditional course in the principality: In the live image of the TV transmission you can suddenly see Gasly’s alpine that the front wing is missing, the left front wheel hangs out of the suspension, the car grinds over the floor, sparks. At times it seems as if the bike could even remove the suspension.
The TV revenue then dissolves: Gasly crashed into the tsunoda rear of the famous tunnel at the end of the famous tunnel. The Japanese had slowed down a bit, but Gasly had completely misjudged, wanted to pass his competitor on the right. There, however, the guardrail was in the way, so that the Frenchman crashed in front of him with his left bike in the racing cars.
“I don’t have a brake,” Gasly sparked, then dragged his car into the box. And it created shake of the head with Sky expert Ralf Schumacher: “He has to know that better,” said the ex-driver.
What he said: Gasly could have parked his car beforehand. By continuing to the box, however, he not only took the risk that the left front wheel will still dissolve, he also distributed fragments on the track. Tsunoda also scolded, but was able to continue. After arriving in the Alpine Box, however, the race for the 29-year-old Gasly ended early.
