Brecht (89) makes viewing boxes with dead animals: a frog on a skateboard, a rat in a barbie dress

A flattened frog on the road was the start of a special hobby. Brecht Schaafsma (89) from Terwispel looks with very different eyes at dead animals than most people. At home in her studio she has immortalized dozens of mice, frogs, rats, birds, even spiders and torren. As still lifes in viewing boxes.
