For more than thirty years, cabinets want two things at the same time: Schiphol’s growth, and a reduction in noise nuisance. In practice it appears that this is not possible: 200,000 people in the Netherlands suffer from serious noise pollution from the airport.

In these people in The Hague you can hear from investigative journalists Karlijn Kuijpers and Derk Stokmans about their research into this noise pollution. They tell how they worked, which and political decision -making has taken place over the years how this file is again an example of how the government is not for its citizen.
