Sledgehammer Silja Kosonen22, opened its summer race today in Chorzow, Poland.
Kosonen beat Janusz Kusociński Memorial to 73.42 meters. The best throw was born in the third round of the competition.
Kosonen series was 71.17, 70.60, 73.42, x, 72.32, 73.39.
All of the other seven competitors of the competition were less than 70 meters. Second best result achieved Anita włodarczykwho wrapped the sledgehammer to 69.91 meters.
Kosonen set a new Finnish record this spring when the sledgehammer flew to 77.07 in March in Cyprus. Kosonen’s result is ranked 15th on the women’s all -time list. The world record 82.98 holds Włodarczyk.
