Olli Jokinen left Timrå IK after one year of coaching, during the contract period. As a reason, he said family reasons.
Jokinen’s surprise exit has not only been watched with good and understanding.

– It could have been better treated. Now he chose another road.
Zetterberg is strongly Timrå-like. He rose from the club’s junior to the representative team and played two Elitserien seasons before he moved to the NHL world.
Jokinen will train IFK in Helsinki next season.
“It was very positive when he was in Timrå last season,” Zetterberg said.
– We had a good connection throughout the season.
Zetterberg played over a thousand NHL matches in Detroit Red Wings shirt and won the Stanley Cup in 2008. He is a member of the prestigious Triple Gold Club.
