Yves Berendse confirms that there are sometimes tensions with his mother, so he sometimes doesn’t see her for weeks. “That protective sometimes causes irritations,” said the hit singer.
Because of his sudden breakthrough, Yves Berendse had to professionalize. His father still accompanies him to every performance, but his mother can now sit at home. And she has a hard time with that. “Sometimes that gnaws and I think: what a pity that I see so little,” Mama Sanne recently snarled in the press.

Why Yves was tired of his mother? Because she wanted to protect him extremely from childhood against everything. For example, he was not even allowed to go to high school of his choice, because he then had to cross a busy road. “My mother put a stick in front of it,” his complaint was recently.

“I never experienced it as annoying that I had no brothers or sisters. It was just that way. But if I can choose, I would find several kids fantastic.”
