Kroos is a guest with Icon League in Berlin

One day after the DFB Cup final, world champion Toni Kroos asks for the final of the Icon League in Berlin. Berlin artists are also there.
While the DFB Cup in Berlin will be decided on Saturday (from 8 p.m. in the LiveTicker from T-Online), Sunday is all about another football format: On May 25, the final of the ICON League will be held in the Max-Schmeling-Halle.
Eight teams fight for the title of the second season at the indoor football event. Among other things, the teams around Hertha BSC professional Fabian Reese and the rappers Ski AGGU and Luciano include. The final not only gets a special grade in terms of sport, but also musically.
The Icon League was founded in late 2023 by the 2014 world champion Toni Kroos and Streamer Elias Nerlich. Your common goal: combine football, streaming and entertainment. This mixture attracts a large audience every week – on average, over 1.5 million people watch live on Twitch on Mondays. “I got so much great feedback, also from reigning Bundesliga players who came to us to realize the Icon League myself. This encouragement is just proud,” said Kroos.
The concept also attracts fans on site: More than 90,000 spectators have followed games in the Cologne Lanxess Arena, in the Düsseldorf Castello and in the Munich SAP-Garden. Last year, the Onefootball team around Alphonso Davies and rapper Bausa prevailed there.
And when it comes to Toni Kroos, the story has not yet been counted and should be continued as successfully as possible: “For us who have launched the Icon League, this is all a confirmation to go on this path just as passionately. We are really looking forward to the final in Berlin.”
And further: “We all still have the pictures of the past final from the SAP -Garden in our head, which was absolutely fan -static. That was a great event that we now want to repeat in Berlin. We look forward to a full hall, passionate games, best entertainment and surprises. But – I can have anticipated that – we already have a lot of ideas for Season three and are more motivated than ever.” Kroos did not reveal what ideas these are, the fans can be excited.
