Dutch biodiversity is in a bad way, which means that clean drinking water and healthy food are under pressure. This is apparent from a large -scale study by Naturalis Biodiversity Center that is being presented today. For example, the number of butterflies has been halved more than halved in the last twenty years and since 2008 no fewer than 171 species of paddling chairs have disappeared from the landscape. But there are also bright spots in nature: large mammals such as the beaver, otter and seal are moving forward, as well as the sea eagle.
