In the investigation into the election fraud, the plus daughter of Mayor Guy D’haeseleer and a second ships were released. They were allowed after interrogation. Six other party members were already released last night after hours of interrogation. According to the public prosecutor, Mayor Guy D’Haeseleer now also received an invitation for interrogation, but his lawyer Piet Noë says that D’Haeseleer is currently “medically unsuitable to be heard”.
