The heavily secured court in the prison in Vught will be used for the first time next Wednesday. It is a case against Isaac B., an alleged contact of the still fugitive Jos Leijdekkers, also known as Bolle Jos. The following week, the new court is also planned: the Marengo process, with Ridouan Taghi as one of the main suspects.
The session room is on the site of the PI in Vught, near the main entrance. Inside, top criminals and well -known suspects from mainly the extra secure design (EBI) can be tried. This ensures that flight -hazardous prisoners no longer have to be brought to and from, for example, the heavily secure court in Amsterdam. In such transports, dozens were often used, whether or not hundreds of people and it costs a lot of money.

At the end of March the court was officially opened on the PI site. So next week the room will be used for the first time. It is a hearing of the Amsterdam Court of Appeal in the case against Isaac B. from Rotterdam. He was the former right hand of drug criminal Bolle Jos.
Three years ago, Isaac B. was sentenced to twelve years in prison for coke smuggling in Antwerp and another six years for membership of a crime organization. Bolle Jos is still hiding in Sierra Leone.
