Football second division SC Paderborn has found a successor to Lukas Kwasniok. The previous U19 coach of Karlsruher SC, Ralf Kettemann, will be the new trainer at the SCP.

The association confirmed this on Tuesday afternoon by press release. “With the commitment of Ralf Kettemann, we also consistently continue our Paderborner Weg in the coaching position. His teams are characterized by skill strength and flexibility, so it fits perfectly into our requirement profile. Ralf also knows very well to work with young players and to develop them further,” explained Managing Director Sport Benjamin Weber.

“I am really looking forward to the new task and thank all those responsible for taking the next steps in the development of SC Paderborn 07 together with the team. Excellent has been done here in recent years,” Kettemann is quoted.

Kwasniok leaves Paderborn after four years

Born in Crailsheimer, the native is currently completing the course for football teachers. He played more active for the Stuttgart Kickers and VfR Aalen in the 3rd division. With the juniors of the KSC, the 38-year-old is still in the final of the DFB Cup against Werder Bremen.

Kwasniok leaves the club after four years and takes a break. The fourth place in the table this season was the best placement under Kwasniok.
