Eintracht Braunschweig fights for whereabouts in the 2nd Bundesliga. The tickets for the games against Saarbrücken were quickly out of print. But there is a back door.

The rush for the tickets for the upcoming relegation games of Eintracht Braunschweig against 1. FC Saarbrücken was huge. For the first leg in the Ludwigsparkstadion in Saarbrücken next Friday (kick-off 8.30pm), the guest editor of 1,500 standing and 336 seats was quickly exhausted.

“The guest block is sold out,” writes Eintracht on the website. And also for the second leg in the home stadium on Hamburger Strasse on May 27th (8.30pm), many Eintracht fans looked into the tube on Tuesday. The bitter news: All tickets were out of print after only a few hours of advance.

And yet there is a residual hope for interested Braunschweigers who have left empty. Because at the moment, permanent ticket holders of the 2024/25 season have the chance up to and including Wednesday to activate their reserved ticket for a discounted price in the fan shop. After the deadline, the unused reservations go on sale again.

Fans also have to be quick if they still want to be there at the decisive home game against Saarbrücken. The date you should mark on the calendar is Friday, May 23, at 10 a.m. Then the remaining contingent is for sale again. The BTSV wants to inform about this again.

Lifelong season ticket owners do not have to strive for an additional ticket for the home game in the relegation. The so -called golden season ticket is valid as usual. The admission takes place via the golden season ticket or the digital version of the lifelong season ticket, the association reports.

For Eintracht, the relegation against the third in the table of the 3rd division is about the whereabouts in the 2nd Bundesliga. Through successive defeats against SV Elversberg (0: 3) and 1. FC Nürnberg (1: 4), the direct relegation had been missed.
