Six of the eight people who were arrested on Tuesday in the investigation into election fraud in Ninove have since been released. Only aldermen Malika Sclacmender and Dany Goessens should stay in jail for the time being. Of the eight people who were arrested – Goessens in the afternoon, the others in the morning – seven were on the list of Forza Ninove for the municipal elections in October.
