According to De Mos, nothing is wrong with Amsterdam. “It is a beautiful city, it has many beautiful buildings, canals and of course the most beautiful of Amsterdam is the first train back to The Hague.” On behalf of the Hart voor The Hague party, De Mos announced that ‘the mistake from the French period must be restored’.
‘Comic idea’
The party leader’s initiative is not really appreciated by the people of Amsterdam, although they can laugh about it. “A comic idea, yes. It will of course never be” and “there is nothing above Amsterdam, we are the most beautiful city in the world,” sound reactions on the street.
