After almost 40 years, a bust of Jim Morrison found that from his Grave in the famous Père-Lachaise cemetery had been stolen in Paris.
French police discovered stolen bust at Raid
The French police discovered the marble bust during a search in the context of a completely different fraud. The authorities have not yet announced any further details. So that it is still unclear who is responsible for the beheading of the statue and where it was hidden all the years. The story behind the Jim Morrison Bust
The bust of Morrison was created by the Croatian artist Mladen Mikulin and in 1981 on the 10th anniversary of death of Morrison unveiled. During her seven -year time on Morrison’s gravestone, the bust of fans were sprayed with graffiti and parts of it were removed as souvenirs. A photo that the French authorities published after the reinforcement of the bust was littered with lettering and without nose.

Since the statue disappeared, there have been numerous rumors of the theft.
