A motorist crashed into a tree on Monday evening in Wanroij after a deer crossed the road. The accident happened at the split with the Noordstraat and the Zoetendaal.
The driver saw the deer crossing and wanted to prevent him from driving the animal. That is why the man decided to turn out.
Both the deer and the driver have come off without a hurry. The man was still checked by ambulance personnel on the spot, but he didn’t have to go to the hospital.
The car, on the other hand, was damaged by the accident. A recovery company has towed the car. The road was therefore partly closed.
